Warranty Policy
PROWEIGHED Mobile Vehicle & Caravan Weighing stands behind the quality of the products we supply and the services we provide. This policy outlines how warranties are handled for both products purchased through our store and the services we deliver.
Australian Consumer Law
All products sold by PROWEIGHED come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy limits or replaces your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Manufacturer Warranties
Many of the products supplied by PROWEIGHED, including towing mirrors, towing equipment, and accessories, are covered by manufacturer warranties.
Warranty periods and conditions are set by the manufacturer and may vary between products. Where applicable, warranty claims may be handled directly through the manufacturer or through PROWEIGHED as the supplier.
If you believe a product has a manufacturing fault, please contact us with:
• Your proof of purchase
• A description of the issue
• Photos where possible
Our team will assist in assessing the issue and arranging the appropriate outcome in line with the manufacturer’s warranty process.
What Warranty Covers
Warranty typically covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal use within the specified warranty period.
What Warranty Does Not Cover
Warranty does not apply to:
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or incorrect installation
• Damage caused by modifications or alterations
• Improper use outside the intended purpose of the product
• Installation performed outside manufacturer guidelines
Installation of Products
Where PROWEIGHED installs a product, we take care to follow correct procedures and manufacturer recommendations. Any installation related concerns should be reported to us as soon as possible so we can review and resolve the issue.
Weighing Services
PROWEIGHED provides weighing services using legal for trade verified equipment designed to deliver accurate measurements at the time of testing.
Our reports reflect the measurements recorded during the weighing session based on the vehicle condition, loading, and configuration at that time. Changes made after the weighing session, including load changes or vehicle modifications, may alter results.
Because of this, weighing services themselves are not subject to warranty beyond the accuracy and operation of the equipment at the time of measurement.
