Every PROWEIGHED assessment finishes with a signed report. It sets out the measurements taken, the applicable ratings and what the numbers mean for your setup, in plain English.
Three assessment types. Three different reports.
The information included in your PROWEIGHED report depends on the assessment you choose. A vehicle-only assessment requires different measurements from a caravan or trailer assessment, while a complete towing combination brings both sides of the setup together.
Choose a report below to see what each assessment is designed to document.
Vehicle report
4WDs, tow vehicles, passenger vehicles, touring vehicles and other vehicle-only assessments.
Focuses on the vehicle itself, documenting the measurements and information recorded during a vehicle-only assessment, and showing how the vehicle is carrying its load as presented on the day.
Depending on the assessment, may includeNo trailer is connected during a vehicle assessment.
Caravan / trailer report
Caravans, camper trailers, horse floats, boat trailers and other suitable trailer-only assessments.
Focuses on the trailer independently of a full tow vehicle assessment, documenting the trailer measurements and loading information recorded on the day.
Depending on the assessment, may includeA trailer-focused assessment. It does not provide the same information as a complete combination assessment.
Combination tow vehicle / trailer report
Tow vehicle with a caravan, camper trailer, horse float or other suitable trailer, assessed together as one setup.
Brings the tow vehicle, trailer and complete combination measurements together, so you can see how the two interact once they are connected.
Covers four areasShows what changes when the tow vehicle and trailer become one towing combination.
Each report serves a different assessment requirement. The combination report covers the broadest range of information simply because both the tow vehicle and the trailer are being assessed together.
Which report do I need?
More than a list of numbers
A figure on its own does not help anybody. Every measurement in a PROWEIGHED report is set against the rating that applies to it, so you can see where you sit rather than guessing.
Findings are written the way they would be explained standing beside the vehicle.
Figures come from the assessment itself, recorded as the setup was presented.
Each measurement is shown alongside the limit that applies to it, with the remaining capacity.
Findings say what the numbers mean for your setup and what to consider next.
A record of the assessment you can refer back to, or share with a workshop or insurer.
