Common questions
Do I legally need this sign?
For caravans it is not a legal requirement. It does however allow you to legally straddle 2 lanes when turning if the need arises. Failure to display this sign while doing so leaves you open to to possible fines and insurance implications should an accident occur.
Will it stick to a fibreglass or aluminium van?
Yes. The adhesive is a permanent acrylic rated for both. Clean the panel with wax and grease remover, allow to dry for 5 minutes, fit it above 10 degrees, and leave it 24 hours before washing.
Can I remove it later?
It comes off with heat and slow pull. Expect some adhesive residue that a citrus remover will lift. It is not designed to be moved between vans.
Is the print reflective at night?
The yellow ground is Class 1 retroreflective film, so it returns headlight at the same angles a road sign does. The black lettering is printed, not reflective, which is what gives the contrast.
How long does delivery take?
